ABOUT ME

Xavi Mendoza is a music producer, arranger, musician, melody maker and industrial engineer that found his calling in her majesty, the one and only MUSIC.
 
After finishing high school, Xavi began his professional studies in the prestigious Institute of Technology and Higher Education in the city of Monterrey. During his studies he decided to listen to his true calling and after finishing his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, he began to study music at UANL Facultad de Música and working part time. His major dream was to study at the internationally recognized Berklee College of Music, like his role model Juan Luis Guerra, Grammy award winner and also Berklee alumn. After 5 years of chasing a dream and having Berklee fixed at the horizon … well a lot of things happened and Xavi graduated with honors from the highly renowned Berklee College of Music, fulfilling a lifetime dream.
 
Xavi is now working in different collaborations that go from scoring a short film, producing music with new artists, engineering/assisting sessions in top end recording studios to perform with Brazilian percussion ensembles.
 
In the near future Xavi Mendoza is going to release the debut material as a singer- songwriter and find his way in a new city (LA), expecting to make more melodies that reach the soul and guts of the ones willing to listen.
